Women are sensitive and react emotionally to situations quickly. For this reason, we all need encouragement. Encouragement to overcome obstacles, encouragement to move on with our lives and embrace the future, and encouragement to step out of our comfort zones. As women, we tend to feel insecure about the way we look to our inner character, and for this reason, it’s easy to fall into depression and anxiety easily.
From my past, I have been through many situations where I did not have anyone to encourage me, until I had my first breakthrough in December 2012 at my church in the University of Kent. That breakthrough opened the doors for the Father to enter my heart and was able to have real intimacy with Him up till this day.
I felt more confident in God; my insecurities were not keeping me bound, my deepest secrets and personal frustrations, I surrendered them all to Him. From that time on, I have been able to encourage and motivate young women and my loved ones and is consistently on the go to see women move beyond their limitations.
I believe as women, we need to encourage hurt people, because when we do that, we are allowing them to heal in the process. Women must build each other up because they KNOW how it feels to be put down.
No matter what you are going through, it is good to open up, not just to your relatives and loved ones, but to God Himself. He is there to answer and meet your needs. I am determined to ensure that every blog post will change the lives of women for the better, and believe that whatever women are struggling with, it is for a purpose because the pain we encounter will always birth out something great.
You can heal from the pain in your past. Time heals all wounds. Be patient and be kind to yourself. Start loving yourself the same way God loves you. Do not allow your past to define who you are, but let it SHAPE you to become a better you!
Women are VIRTUOUS! Our worth is already determined by Him that made us. Keep your head high and don’t let your crown fall.
Philippians 4:6-7 “(6) Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done, (7) Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus”.
