The Power of a Closing Door

Hello everyone and welcome back! Happy New Year to you all, and I really hope you enjoyed your Christmas and is having a great new year so far? Woah, for me I enjoyed New Years. So many blessings that are being birthed which I am very excited for! But before I go ahead to my topic, I want to let you ladies know about the first Empowered United Women’s Ministry Conference that will be held on Saturday 13th February 2016. More information can be found via my Facebook Page (Esther Jacob), Twitter Page (@queenstar2711) and Instagram Page (QueenEsther2711). Registration is required so please sign up via Eventbrite. The link will also be on my Facebook page too ūüôā

So today, I want to speak to you about¬†‘The Power of a Closing Door’.¬†What is so special about a closing door you may ask? Would you suggest I am talking about the physical door we open and close on a daily basis? Well, it could be used to explain a situation metaphorically. But I am talking about the things we pray for that don’t get answered, our tears we cry at night that no-one is able to understand. Our personal one-to-one time with God will surely reflect the amount of doors He will open for you an I. You can be a church-goer every Sunday, but not have Him in your heart throughout Monday to Saturday. You can keep on giving your tithes and offerings until you don’t have much left and still feel broke. The power of a closing door today speaks many volumes especially in this new season we are in. When I was weak in my Faith in 2014, I honestly thought God did not like me. I struggled so much with job applications that it frustrated me to nearly giving up.

Door 5

I still remember a time I applied for a Marketing position for Gum-tree. Spoke to a lovely lady on the phone regarding the position, and she required me to bring my passport and bank details which I did. Upon arrival, a lady informed me that they have found a suitable candidate for the position. That day I was wearing the most tightest black shoes that my toes couldn’t breathe! It was more than a two-hour journey! As soon as the lady told me, I humbly walked out, went to the train station and I could feel the heavy tears falling from my eyes. I was listening to gospel music, but to no avail, the tears started to come. Personally ladies, I don’t cry in public, but this one was just too strong. I did not even have the opportunity of introducing myself and why I applied for the role. I felt it was a two-hour wasted journey, but I know that God didn’t. He saw it as a set-up, because I strongly believe ladies, what you have been struggling with the most, will be your greatest triumph.

The funny thing about us today is that we don’t want to struggle. In other words, we don’t want to go through the process, we just want to arrive at the destination. But can I tell you something? You learn MORE in the process rather than at the arrival of the destination. My mind-set before was like “When I get the job, when I get the money, when I get the car etc I will enjoy life”, not knowing that these things do not produce happiness. Being happy is about focusing on what you DO HAVE and being content with it. There are certain things I don’t have at this moment, but it does not mean I should behave in a way that is discontent and miserable. Imagine one of your close friends that constantly complains and compares with other women who may have it all. But the question is, what is ‘having it all?’ Is it about working full-time earning ¬£50,000 per annum? Is it travelling around the world 5 times in a year? Is it having the best make-up and hair? Don’t get me wrong ladies, these are beautiful blessings; I see them as bonuses, but are they the real tools that bring about happiness?

Door 4

How about your friend who is currently struggling to find her inner-self? She keeps wallowing in low-self esteem, and you are there complaining and being bitter about not having enough money. Which one is more detrimental to the soul? Personally, I would choose low self-esteem. Some kill themselves due to this, because they have not made the effort to discover who they truly are, instead they allowed society and friends to dictate who they are. Have you ever been in this position before? Every struggle is a strength because in your weakness, it teaches you something that you would not have known. The struggle to find a job can be seen as a strength. For example, if you are constantly looking for Marketing jobs, and nothing is coming your way, shouldn’t that be a sign that you should position your search somewhere else? Somewhere that you will benefit from and grow! You do not just apply for jobs because of its title or pay. The employer does not want to recruit someone who just wants money. The employer needs an experienced and qualified candidate who proves that they are capable of handling the job.

Likewise, God will not always grant our hearts desires simply because we may not be ready, so instead of rushing, He wants to work on your inside. Lets jump back to the woman with low self-esteem. If God who is all-knowing, can see His daughter struggling with who she is, fear is gripping her, her mouth speaks negatively, she doesn’t see the best in herself, how can God bless her? This is a challenge to some of us today. When I studied Romans 12:1-21, it talks about how we should present our bodies as living sacrifices. Down along the line, we see Paul stressing about not being accustomed to this world and its habits. Most women today feel the need to imitate others, and never feeling fulfilled until they become like other celebrities. Now apply this in your own personal life my dear. Are you currently in a predicament where your mind is not at rest? Do you feel the need to dress a certain way or look a certain way for people to love you? If God takes that man away from you, will you STILL be able to stand?

Door 1

The power of a closing door is not everyone’s cup of tea. Some can endure it, but others cannot. Where I am now at this time, I can honestly say I am getting there. I am not where I used to be (praise Jesus!), but I am SO GLAD that I am getting there! It won’t be an overnight thing, some will take months, some years, but regardless, length of time has nothing to do with the importance of a closing door. Do not time destroy your blessings by counting the number of doors that close in your life. Some closed doors are blessings because I strongly believe that God will never give you a task you cannot handle. A book that TD Jakes wrote previously in the years is¬†“Can You Stand To Be Blessed?”¬† A lot of people today cannot enjoy their blessings because they do not want to hurt or offend their ‘friends feelings’. I am not going to buy into that, because a GOOD FRIEND would celebrate you and be genuinely happy for you. I smile when I think about the relationship that Jonathan and David had, because Jonathan was much wealthier than David, HOWEVER Jonathan knew that David was capable to be King, so instead he HUMBLED HIMSELF and allowed David the opportunity. Now I do not know how many would humble themselves just to exalt their friend.

Despite the closed doors, the rumors, the heart aches, how many of us are still willing to see our friends be blessed? I know it won’t be easy when you have struggled more than your friend, but won’t you be glad to see your friend happy? Because I remember hearing that when God starts blessing your friends, it means He is around your neighborhood to bless you too :). For me personally, a closing door is very powerful in this new season we are in. I assume that some of you have already made new year resolutions, and some may not have been what you expected. On the other hand some may not have been answered, but that does not negate the fact that God is not present. Remember ladies, do not confuse the existence of your problems to contradict the absence of Gods presence. God will always be with you, no matter how long the door is closed.

Door 6

We will not always get everything we desire though, and it is for our good. Too much of everything isn’t good! Honestly speaking. If God was to give you everything at once, you won’t know how to handle it, because it will be too much. This is why God puts us in S-T-A-G-E-S. Most of us disregard stages with a passion, but knowing the power ¬†of stages will enable you to reach your destiny. It may not get you there quicker, because a lot of women today just want to arrive at their destination and neglect the process. It cannot be this way. God wants us to be GROUNDED in Him (Refer to TD Jakes – Ground Level Zero via YouTube). Yes it may look like you haven’t got anything, but I tell you it is better to start with God and have nothing than to fight your way to the top without having God, because eventually you will fall. This is why I thank God for taking me the S-L-O-W R-O-A-D.¬†Not a lot of us have the patience to go the slow-road. I remember a dear friend said to me that she told a few people about something that she planned on doing. Eventually, she realised that her plans did not prosper, so she learnt that saying things pre-maturely is dangerous. I too had to learn from that word ‘pre-mature’. We shout, jubilate and say we have this and that, but what if it does not come when you want it to? How embarrassing will it be for you? This is why it is better to allow God to close certain doors that are not relevant in your life, than to embarrass yourself and blame God for it.¬†

Doors 3

All He wants is your heart! Are you ready to give Him your all this year 2016? Or do you want this year to be a repetition of 2015? If you keep doing the same thing, you will always have the same result. Do not expect God to change your world if your only talking to God about your blessing, and not taking any action. Faith without works is DEAD! (James 2:14-26). Remember that ladies! It is your works AND the Faith together that will move God to bless you. Yes you believe with your mouth but what is your mind saying? Are you ready to have some doors closed on you this year? Brace yourself queen, because some will happen when you least expect it. You have to be ready for the trials, tribulations and silent struggles that will come in your life. Don’t expect everything to always be rosy, because I tell you, God can easily interrupt your plans! Try not to go ahead of Him because He is ordering your steps. God always works behind the scenes!

Quote: I’m thankful for my struggle because without it, I wouldn’t have stumbled across my strength (Author: Alex Elle).

Remember there is power in a closing door; do not lose sleep over what you lost, instead thank Him for what He took out of your life ūüôā

Seasonal Attacks!

Attacks 2

Yes I feel alone at times. Just because I smile it doesn’t always mean I am happy. It is all just a cover up. The pain still shows on the outside as well as on the inside too. I know you can’t see it because I smell good, dress good, look good, but beyond all of that physical attributes and appearances, I still want someone by my side reminding me that all will be okay. Wouldn’t you want that too?

Now I do not know about you, but this year has taught me a lot! It has given me wisdom and strength. Yes I have had seasons where I felt weak, but the Lord made strong through it all. With the help of the Lord, I was able to make decisions that benefited my well-being and the actions I will take to fulfill a successful future; the people I choose to be around, those who will help me to reach my potential and help to fulfill my visions.

For some of you right now, you may be facing a seasonal attack; it might even be a ‘silent season’ where God isn’t speaking. Ladies, I have been there, and recently it feels like I am at that stage now. It can be painful when we don’t hear God speak, but I remember a friend telling me that when doing exams, the invigilator is always quiet during the test. I have to keep reminding myself that though I may be in a quiet season, it does not exempt God from speaking to me. This is something that I had to train my mind to keep doing, because if I didn’t, the enemy would have kept deceiving me.

Remember ladies, there are times where you will become impatient about something that you really want, and the enemy will use your impatience to attack God. The enemy will keep whispering in your ear: “Where is your God now?” “You might as well give up¬†on prayer because God ain’t listening!” Does these questions ring any bells at all? For me, they personally do. I was so spiritually weak and used to assume God did not care at all for me, until I met some amazing sisters this year that helped me to position and change my mindset for the better. Step by step I am getting there with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Your seasonal attacks should prepare you for what God has in store. Seasonal attacks are not permanent, they are temporary. Remember ladies that delay is NOT DENIAL! Just because you received a “NO”, doesn’t mean it will stay as a permanent no. Your mind has to be transformed by the Word of God. Remember that what ever door God closes, no man can open. Every single door that you thought was for you and God has closed it, you ought to give Him the highest praise, because I tell you, He knows what you can handle ladies!

Don’t assume that God is not listening to your prayers because your request was not answered at the time you wanted it. Instead thank Him for there is power in a closed door!¬†Every seasonal attack is meant to push your character to become better and test your weaknesses. You must learn from every challenge you face because through them, your weaknesses eventually turn into strengths. If everything was easy in your life without struggle, how can you help someone who is currently going through problems? In my previous blog posts I stressed on the fact that I find it very hard relating to people who have not gone through anything, particularly without struggling.

For those who know me, I really found it hard securing a job after my degree, but thank God I have a job. People around me would always remind me that I have a job and that I should be grateful, but do they really know the pain I went through behind closed doors? The struggle of today is strengthening our tomorrow if you allow it to. In fact your seasonal attacks are working on behalf of your favor. Every trial, every tear, every test, even when you feel lonely and no-one is around is the OPPORTUNITY for you to draw closer to Him.

I am going to be real, there are times where I receive so many Whats-app messages and all I want to do is be with God, then when no-one sends me any message on¬†Whats-app¬†I get offended LOL! Can I be real here? Like honestly, it is not always easy because I don’t want to put God on the tip of my to do list; He must come first, and everything else shall follow. Recently, I have been drawing closer to the Lord and He has revealed a few things to me which I am really ecstatic about! 2016 is going to be a great year for you and I!

Just like how the weather changes is how our situations change, but guess what? GOD NEVER CHANGES! That is something to be happy about! When I sense my loved ones are too busy for me, I know there is someone who will never get tired of me, who will wipe my tears when I feel lonely, who will provide for all my needs when fear tries to act, who will keep me consistent in prayer, who will protect my family from harm. This is a God who remains the same through all of our seasonal attacks, and He deserves ALL THE GLORY AND PRAISE!

One of my beautiful sisters keeps reminding me that “If you don’t understand my pain you will never understand my pain”. Sometimes before we speak, we must THINK! Please do not underestimate the pain I went through in my past because you do not know any of the things I had to fight to get where I am today. I find it very funny when people assume you had an easy life without no struggle. You don’t need to tell people your business, but when you sense someone is trying to criticize your happiness, just ask them “Do you know how much it costed me to get this far?”.

If only some of your critics knew the background you came from, certain words won’t ever come out of their mouths, let alone their thoughts. I honestly do not have time to entertain a certain amount of pressure or negative vibes from people. As Women of Worth, we must know who we are in the Lord and know that all things will work out for our good! Our worth is NOT in our seasonal attacks but by the words of our testimony! You and I have a testimony! Whether big or small, it still glorifies our Father.

Sisters, if you are currently going through a seasonal attack, whether it be:

  • Friendship attacks
  • Relationship attacks
  • Financial attacks
  • Family attacks
  • Spiritual attacks
  • Emotional attacks
  • Psychological attacks
  • Mental attacks (Depression and Stress)
  • Psychical attacks
  • Health attacks
  • Death attacks

PLEASE SPEAK UP! Do not allow these attacks to get the best of you! Sometimes sharing your problems with people may not heal the pain at that instance, but it will surely lift up a burden from your shoulder. Personally, I find it hard at times opening up to people, but instead what I do is pray before I speak, because sadly not everyone will support you when you are down. You really have to know the right people you can open up to. This takes WISDOM AND SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT. These both can come through dreams and visions if you ask for them.

So my dear sisters in the Lord, please do not keep things to yourself. Speak to God and those He has placed in your life. Bare in mind that not everyone in your life will be for you, but the good thing to know is that He will grant you peace of mind on who to talk to. How, through your Spirit. When you speak to someone, you shouldn’t have second thoughts if you are controlled by the Spirit. However if you are talking from a feeling-based perspective, it can lead to regret and resentment. Remember you have to be aware when Satan tries to attack you; this is through PUTTING ON THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD: (Ephesians 6:10-18) and to CREATE A CIRCLE OF CHRISTIAN SUPPORT! (2 Timothy 1:8-9).

Some are currently facing mood swings; happy one day, anger another day. This is not what God wants. He always wants us to be happy even when things don’t look right. Remember that your seasonal attacks are working for your good (Romans 8:28). Your pain serves a purpose so don’t ever doubt it! Do not settle for less either; yes your pain will work out for your good, but it does not mean you should compromise who you are just to fit in. Do not make a permanent decision on a temporary situation. Even when you are upset, do not let your anger sleep with you because it will deceive (Ephesians 4:26-27). In all things remember change starts from your mind, so be transformed through His Word (Romans 12:2) and meditate on it day and night (Joshua 1:8).

The hard YES!

In this increasing world, life is getting more difficult. Friends turning into enemy’s, spiritual life all over the place, all sorts of health and suicidal sufferings in different parts of the world, hearts growing cold; nothing is being done! Why is this so? Could it be that we are not taking the time to fully surrender our problems to God? Why do we find it so easy telling¬†friends who are just as broken as we are, to give sound advice? Because these days, you have to be very careful of who you open up to. Not everyone who is placed in your life will offer you Godly advice.

I struggled so much with surrendering my problems to God. I would always think in my heart that if I didn’t work towards my aspirations, nothing would have been done, and we all know that time does not wait for anybody! But this month, I have decided to say YES to God and NO to my decisions. I am very happy to know that God has everything sorted out, even when it does not look like it in the natural. You see, God is a Spirit, and those who worship must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. When we give God a YES, we are saying that His will must be accomplished in our lives, and that we don’t have any right to question His timing.

What are you struggling with now that you find difficult to give up? Could it be a close friend who you might be losing a bit of respect for? Maybe she has done some horrible things that have cut you deeply. But when you think about it, you have the power to make your life better, regardless of what a friend does to you. You can choose to trade your sorrows with His Peace and ask Him to soften your heart to change the way you perceive the person. Our perceptions are dangerous if not used with the right discerning Spirit.

Who knows this song; “I’m trading my sorrows, I’m trading my shame, I’m laying them down for the Joy of the Lord. I’m trading my sickness, I’m trading my pain, I’m laying them down for the Joy of the Lord. We say YES LORD YES LORD YES YES LORD, YES LORD YES LORD YES YES LORD, YES LORD YES LORD YES YES LORD AMEN!”

  • YES to your WAY!
  • YES to your WORD!
  • YES to your WILL!
  • YES to You LORD!

Imagine if this was our daily prayer. Yes to everything that involves God. Yes to giving up our problems for His Peace. I recently listened to TD Jakes sermon “My Feet, His Fire”, and what caught my attention was that Christians offer God ‘Strange Fire’. So in other words, they ask God to answer their selfish prayers not realizing that God has already seen the motives of their hearts, so He rejects certain prayers because they are only satisfying to the flesh. What are you asking God to do for you? Are you expecting Him to anoint your fraudulent movements? You cannot expect to offer human flesh to a Holy God. If you think that your works will change Gods mind to bless you, especially if it is not according to His will, it will backfire. God does not appreciate strange fire. It is up to us to offer Him our feet (our weaknesses, our downfalls, our plans, our future) in His hands so that we can receive His warm fire.

No matter what you try to do, you cannot pray your way out of selfish motives. You should know the intentions of your prayers, and it is up to you to make sure that they are aligned to His Word. In Isaiah 36:3-6 we see that Rabshakeh was very disobedient to God, telling the people in the land of Egypt not to listen to Hezekiah about trusting the Lord and giving everything to Him. But God said to the people of Egypt that if you trust in what Rabshakeh says, it will pierce the hand of anyone who leans on him instead of the Most High. In other words, the King of Pharaoh was a negative influence to the people in Egypt. It is now up to us to say YES to God, and no to Pharaoh (our selfish motives). Rabshakeh’s motives were disrespectful to the Most High, questioning His ability to save the people in the land of Egypt. He thought he had two heads, he thought he was higher than God, not knowing that the Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12).

Yes 3

Whatever your motives, God will easily expose you. You cannot conceal what smells. No matter how much you try to cover it. Naaman was a Leper. He may not have liked it, but He couldn’t cover it up (2 Kings 5). Now back to you, what are you trying to cover up? Are you trying to look important just for people to congratulate you, but deep down your broken and feeling empty inside? Why do you try to put on a show for people? Lack of studying the Word results to lack of wisdom and knowledge. The Principle of the Word should be used as a weapon against the enemy, as well as the opening of Blessings. Just knowing the scriptures won’t change anything, because with the Word comes FAITH, and we all should know that without Faith, it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God! I stress this again, don’t expect God to honor your fraudulent movements. He is not to be mocked, for whatever one soweth, THAT and that is what he shall reap! (Galatians 6:7).

Yes 2

Instead of trying to look important, humble yourself so that in due time He may exalt you! To have a solid foundation in life, it starts off with acknowledging WHO God is and giving the due respect. The Bible encourages us to build our lives on the Solid Rock of Jesus Christ so that we are securely rooted in Him. If you try to build your own life on what people say you should do, or how they treat you, or how your circumstances are making you feel, you are building on sinking sand. But if you TRADE that old cracked foundation for a SOLID FOUNDATION, nothing can shake you. The bottom line is; Christ is your Foundation! You cannot do anything without God, for it is up to you to make a decision to offer your plans and exchange it for His. NOT just going to God for Him to answer your prayers, but ensuring that you fully surrender your all to Him, working diligently for His Kingdom.

Some of us today are struggling in many areas that I may not be able to cover! It hurts me so much when I see Christians failing to give God their all including myself. Their plans are great, but they have not been exposed to a culture where they are willing to give up their plans for His own. Because we all know that THE PLANS GOD HAS FOR US ARE FOR GOOD AND NOT OF EVIL, TO GIVE US A FUTURE AND AN EXPECTED END (JEREMIAH 29:11). We make our lives difficult by not renewing our minds with the Word. We fear to take time off what we enjoy doing because we have become so complacent. There are times where we have to be still in His Presence. Just to know that He is God of all, and to acknowledge that He holds all the time in His hands!

You keep saying to yourself ‘when is the timing right’. God is saying ‘Time? I am in control of time. My timing is perfect and is in My Hands’.

There is no perfect timing other than God’s timing! I have not experienced a time in my life where I have demanded God to do something for me on a specific day and time that He has honored. It is NOT that He isn’t Faithful, but GOD WILL NEVER WORK ON MAN’S TIMING! It’s up to us to adhere to His voice and work on His timing. Yes you will be unhappy, but when the finished result is complete, you will then be able to thank God for His timing and say if it wasn’t for the Lord that was on my side, I would have been consumed. Those who don’t struggle for anything I am very weary of! What advice or support can one offer me if one ¬†hasn’t struggled like me? You can’t take advice from The Rich Man in the Bible, but you CAN take advice from Job. What is the difference the between the two? One was rich, but was so reluctant to give up its possessions, whilst the other one was also rich, but suffered and lost all his possessions. But the end result was that The Rich Man ended up losing his possessions and his soul, whilst Job recovered everything he lost! The struggle Job encountered was REAL!! Now I do not believe any one of us have been through what Job went through, but we can learn from his struggle.

Yes it was hard for him to understand why God would allow all these things to happen to him, but it was a test! God tested Job to see what his motives were. Everything you surrender must have a genuine motive! If your motive is not right, I suggest you fix it up now before it will be exposed. There are so many things to learn in our Christian journey. Life is not easy ladies! There are struggles (John 16:33). There is pain, anguish, anxiety, stress, loneliness, betrayal, envy, isolation, self-centredness! But all this can be STOPPED!!! If you want Peace say YES to God. I know it gets difficult when you are expecting something to happen but it doesn’t. It feels as if everything you do just keeps on backfiring. I thought I gave my problems to God, I mean SINCERELY gave it all, not realizing that I ended up worrying, crying, even comparing myself to others around me. When you experience this kind of behavior, that means you haven’t fully surrendered. You thought, ‘let me handle this, whilst I give the rest to God’.

It’s up to you whether you want to give it all to God, or handle it all by yourself. WHATEVER YOU START, YOU WILL HAVE TO FINISH, BUT WHATEVER GOD STARTS, HE WILL FINISH IT! You can’t do half and give the remaining half to God; you have to be willing to TRUST GOD IN THE DECISIONS HE WILL MAKE FOR YOU, WHETHER IT IS WORKING ACCORDING TO YOUR TIMING! Yes we know that good deferred makes the heart sick, but guess what makes God’s heart sick? DOUBT, FEAR, WORRY, ANXIETY, A COMPLAINING SPIRIT, A WEAK PRAYER WARRIOR. All these things hurt the Lord and we have to do something about it. Starting with YES LORD I SURRENDER MY ALL TO YOU, is something to be happy about! Your destiny is too important to keep struggling with maintaining your life up to scratch. No matter how successful you want to be, or the plans you have made, it is IMPOSSIBLE without God. You cannot do anything by yourself¬† because people of nowadays wants to be recognized as ‘yes it was me that done it’.¬†God will bring destiny helpers your way to support and encourage you in the process.

It will take some time to say YES TO GOD, but the quicker the BETTER! Do not wait until your life meets your expectations before you make a decision to offer up your plans to Him. His plans will forever be greater than ours. Say YES to surrendering; Faith it till you make it! You will get there. Your YES is a door to freedom. Receive that freedom and enjoy the life that God intended You to have! I know surrendering doesn’t happen automatically; you will have to deliberately refocus your thoughts at the very time when you don’t feel like doing it. The way you speak to yourself is a determining factor of how you see your life. Your YES should be a shout of Victory! SURRENDER; STOP TRYING AND START RESTING!¬†

Yes 1

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! Wow another year, another opportunity! Just want to remind us all that we all have a purpose that we must fulfill, but before I get into that, I ask us to all meditate on this scripture; it could be your scripture for this year, it could be your scripture for this month. Just let it speak to you:

Isaiah 43:19: “Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert”.

BEHOLD means: see, observe, watch, inspect. God is saying just watch me.

God said HE WILL DO: What God is saying will come to pass. God’s word does not return to Him void. So when God says He will do something, no one on earth can stop Him, because all Power in Heaven and on earth belongs to Jesus. God’s promises and He does what He says.

SOMETHING NEW: God will do something you have never seen before! And when God is saying this, we should be excited because it will be something we never imagined! Something extraordinary. Something supernatural. Something breathtaking! This is God Almighty speaking, The I am that I am.

God said IT SHALL: Not it may or might. Shall means expressing a strong assertion or intention. God is strongly insisting, letting you know that His promises, your dreams, prophecies, breakthroughs shall happen!

SPRING: This means to rise, act suddenly or swiftly. It will happen. Nothing can stop it.

FOURTH: This means out and away from the starting point. God is saying there shall be a SUDDEN CHANGE or turnaround from where you are at. There shall be a sudden shift or movement.

SHALL YOU NOT KNOW IT?: You will see it with your very own eyes. You should believe deeply without a doubt. Do you not know? There is no question about it, it will happen! Don’t you know that it shall happen? God is involving us in the conversation; He is making us understand that He wants us to agree with our turnaround as it shall happen.

I WILL EVEN MAKE A ROAD WAY IN THE WILDERNESS: The wilderness is busy and route-less, but God said He will make a way out of the mess, the difficulty, the hard times. He is the one who made a way in the Jordan River. So be strong in the Lord and the Power of His Mighty Hand. Our God is Mighty beyond words! He will surely make a way, so do not worry how or where, or when. He said He will do it!

A RIVER IN THE DESERT: Desert we all know is a barren area; a place that is deserted. Where there is very limited resources for survival of things. RIVER means overflow of water. God will make a river in the desert, which means He will bring life into that deserted situation; something extraordinary will come out of the situation. It is the water that is needed in the desert for life to occur. Where there is water, plants can grow and humans can survive. Therefore when God is saying He will make a river in the desert, He means He will not just bring life to your situations, but there will be an OVERFLOW because the river will cause life all around you.

Just to encourage you all this year that no matter the trials, the tears, the frustration that will happen this year, just know that God will bring you out!! Remember: “After you have suffered for a while, I will establish you and make you perfect”. 1 Peter 5:10. Our pain is an indication that our success will be greater!! So keep the Faith and keep working towards your dreams, goals and purposes!
