The beauty of authentic love

What greater love does a human being have for an entire nation? The world in itself is so big that in our limited hearts, may be impossible to love or even reach everyone. However, I know of a man who gave His own life, died a cruel death, where those who were meant to help Him, ridiculed and spat on Him. His name is Jesus Christ, and today, we celebrate Easter Sunday; the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour.

I can’t even begin to fathom how amazing and faithful God in. Even when I have my lowest and dark moments, feelings of whether I can carry on, all because I was in my own emotions; but Jesus, in His power reminded me that on this day (Sunday 12th April 2020), that every stagnant situation in my life will lift off me NOW! I am in awe and will always be thankful for what Jesus has done for me.

Coming from a long way in life, I have had many achievements as well as dark moments, but through it all, Jesus has been on my side, cheering me on, giving me creative ideas on how I can continue with the vision He gave me, granting me rest when my body gets weak. I know that nobody can love me the way Jesus can, neither will the motives of a man’s heart be more pure than Christ Himself.

I am fully rest assured that my best days are ahead of me, and nothing that was in the past will ever equate to what is coming for me. My testimony is warming up and all those that have struggled to see why they had to go through what they had to go through will see Christ in my testimony and give Him praise. For every painful situation, there is a way out.

Celebrate today the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He is available to everyone and will not discriminate. I am a full living witness and testimony to Jesus’ goodness! He will bless you; He wants to grant you your hearts desires and give you more. This is your opportunity to give Him what is due to His Name. Has He been good to you? I KNOW He has!

Happy Easter everyone

With love,

There is still hope for our world!

The way I see life makes me truly wonder why we exist. Do we exist just to work, make money, rest, pay off bills, etc. There must be more to life than this! What are we really here for you may ask. Looking at our world all around us, there is so much pressure, so much heartache that one can’t even bear. What humbles me is the gift of life that is given freely every day.

We must be intentional about how to live a fruitful and pleasant life, despite all the noise that happens around us. Our words, actions, and lifestyles can contribute massively to the influence our world has, and can change it for the better if used wisely. When I wake up everyday, I think about how I could make a difference in society, starting from my intimate circle and those around me.

We are already aware of what is going on in our world; the tears, the frustrations, the unexpected losses, you name it.

I would not want to live a life complaining, worrying about what I don’t yet have, anxious about what the future holds. No, I want to appreciate every day I have, taking it one step at a time and changing one life at a time. Do not write yourself off because you have a purpose. What you go through can change someone else’s life, so do not feel your life has no impact.

There is still hope for our world. If we are intentional, we can be game-changes for those we can reach, locally, globally, and internationally. You can make a difference by checking on someone you haven’t spoken to for a long while and listen when they speak. Our world is going through enough, and all we need is a helping hand and someone who will understand.

I am reminded that life isn’t my own and can’t live the way I want to, but what I CAN do is use my existence to make a difference to our world. We must think global to impact globally. We are not islands and can’t do this life on our own. We need people. You and I. Teamwork. Unity. Love. Understanding. When last have we made this a priority. Remember, there is still hope for our world, and as long as you are living, YOU HAVE PURPOSE! Don’t waste it. Please share with someone who will be inspired.

Half way down the year…it has been a journey. Before I move forwards, I want to take this opportunity to invite you to the book launch event: From Brokenness to Completion, held on Saturday 22nd July. To sign up, all you need to do is click on the link and enter your name and email address: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/from-brokenness-to-completion-book-launch-tickets-34525473621. This event is for men and women so if you know of anyone that would benefit, please do not hesitate to let them know. Spread the word! 🙂

June has taught me so much. The thoughts that ran through my mind were to an extent mind-blowing, but it taught me some good stuff. It was as if my patience and trust in God was being tested. I didn’t know what it felt like to take rest, as I was always up at night reading my book, ensuring that it was immaculate before publishing. There were times it felt like I could not cope, but God always seems to find a way to keep me going. My mind would be at a place of peace, and then worry, and then rest, and then anxiety. You will realise that when you are near to finish a project, that is when the enemy comes in like a flood, trying to stop you from fulfilling your purpose. But I had to keep striving, acknowledging the fact that His Presence is with me in all I do. Was I tired, of course! My sleeping pattern changed at times, but I realised that in the end it was all worth it. All the tears and sweat really did work out for my favour.

Laziness and procrastination are the two most dangerous distractions that cause us to be comfortable. Life is not all about being comfortable, it is how you see the circumstances of life and how to create peace within the storm that gets you to the next level. I can’t emphasise enough on how 2017 has equipped me mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. I have had days where I felt like doing nothing, but the Lord keeps telling me to go forward, to not worry too much about what I can’t see happening right now. When we don’t see the result, we end up being frustrated and fed up. But in this season, I’ve learnt the beauty of letting go and allowing God to take full control. Not to be led by my feelings or my knowledge. I can’t be my own counsellor. I must stop trying to make everything work in my power and giving it to the One that knows me best.

Remember that it is okay to not be okay at times. You can cry, you can have your private space, you won’t always get it right, but through it all, you gain strength, wisdom and the ability to remain firm despite the uncertainty of life. June has taught me to pray harder, not just for my personal life, but for the world. The United Kingdom needs our prayers; so much is going on – people are dying unexpectedly, innocent lives are being taken, but I know my God doesn’t sleep. He sees all and knows all.

Finally, I want to leave you with this: when you worry what does it do for you? When you think about your life and the plans you made, did it happen for you or not? If it did, praise God; if it didn’t, how to you take it? It could be teaching you to have more patience and a thankful heart. Don’t ever look down on what God has placed in your heart, whether you see it working on your behalf or not. Every day is a sign that you have been put here for a purpose. Let the remaining months of 2017 teach you something valuable. Do not give up, no matter what you are going through. It will all be worth it in the end.

NOTE: From brokenness to completion – you are still a work in progress!
