TAKE TIME OFF SOCIAL MEDIA!

For those who know me, you would know how social media is a part of what I do. I decided to take a few days off social media to recuperate, reflect and have me time. I want to tell you that social media isn’t running away from you. No matter how many posts you see on a daily basis, you will not be behind on anything, as long as you discipline your mind well.

There needs to be balance in everything we do; if we constantly partake in the same routine, we will only achieve the same results. Taking time off what you are used to is good for your mind to rest. It is refreshing to do different activities. I take time off social media to regain focus and plan for the future. When things seem overwhelming, I wouldn’t recommend using social media as a way to ease the pain; this will only increase it.

Depending on how your mindset is positioned, for me, I thank God He has helped me to develop self-control, to know what I need to take into account and what I don’t need to take into account. This takes time, so please do not put yourself under any pressure if you are influenced so quickly.

My question to you is: what purpose is social media providing that makes you a better person? Is it just to compare yourself to others and secretly put yourself down behind the scenes? Or, are you trying to avoid someone to ‘secure your insecurities?’ Do not let these be so, and don’t give any of them room in your life. These are emotions talking and they aren’t always accurate. Taking time off social media is meant to be for healthy purposes; not just to avoid people or the hype.

You are valuable and for those that use social media, use it wisely because someone’s life could be inspired by what you post. Don’t post out of boredom or to show off. Your intentions speak louder than your mouth does. Be humble. Be kind. Serve. Make someone else’s day and focus on your lane. Social media is not the ultimate goal. It is a resource that is used every second. Remember who the source is: God. Don’t allow social media to break you into pieces. It is good to take a break. Remember this. You are not missing out on anything!

You are loved ❤

Book Signing Part 3 – WHSmith Stratford Branch!

I have been humbled to promote my two previous books at several WHSmith stores, however, with my new and most recent book; From Glory to Glory, it was a pleasure to sign copies at the WHSmith Stratford branch on Saturday 18th May 2019. From the first man to the last woman that bought the book, I was truly inspired by people’s transparency, sharing what they had to overcome and what they are currently going through. It reminded me that I have a purpose to fulfil and that is what I am doing now. Seeing two young children with so much joy and excitement in hiding my books has given me so much happiness.

I have come to a point in my life where my walk and my talk must be in alignment. I can’t be sitting on my gifts and expecting people to be inspired without being real. Every customer I spoke to was inspired to see a young woman investing back into society through promoting her books. I have been touched just to have opportunities to promote my books at bookshops, my previous university and also on my website (www.authenticworth.com).

A book launch will be held on Saturday 27th July 2019 on behalf of my third book. More information and how to register can be found here. I want to remind and encourage you reading this blog post that nothing is impossible. If you want to start something, do it now because tomorrow is never guaranteed. I will continue to inspire as many people to know that their pain serves a purpose and nothing we have been through will be wasted.

You are special, you are precious and you are loved. I’ve attached a few pictures below from my book signing. There were so many! Enjoy, smile, tell a friend and together let’s leave a long-lasting legacy in our world.

With love,

NEW ADDITION TO THE FAMILY | BOOK LAUNCH 2019 | BOOK SIGNING

I am honoured to announce that I have written a third book: From Glory to Glory and can be purchased on my website and Amazon. This book is a real, raw and transparent read that will enable to reflect on your own life and understand the purpose behind why you are here. I keep saying to all readers that they have purpose. YOU have purpose; I have purpose. You are not a mistake and someone is expecting a breakthrough from all the pain you have encountered.

The journey of writing is not an easy one, I tell you. It takes a lot of separation, thinking, reflection, focus and determination to be consistent but I decided to carry on with it.

Since 2016 when I launched my first book, I enjoyed writing about how I felt, how my day went and what I learnt. I like to write in a way that inspires, convicts and informs readers that it is okay not to be okay. We are living in a generation where we want everything to look and be perfect, but it is okay for it to crumble and fall apart; when situations don’t look clear, it is a sure sign that it will get better. Your situation will not last forever; just allow life to keep doing what its doing.

A book launch will be held on Saturday 27th July 2019. More information can be found on this link.

If you are also interested in learning how to write a book, click on this link for more information on how to enrol. It is a great way to get your story heard and learn the process of writing a book from start to finish.

Someone needs to hear what you have been through in order to be set free.

Remember: you are not alone in this journey called life!

2018 – what a year! 2019, I AM READY FOR YOU!

It’s that time again where I choose December to be my month of reflection! oh, how I love December!

December is a time to ponder on the whole year and analyse the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

2018 for me, personally, has been a year of many achievements; being promoted in my previous position, having another annual event in July; The Big Debate, my first workshop for book writers in November, travelling to Dubai in July with my sister (which was not the plan to go this year, lol!), having a website for the business; Authentic Worth and other achievements that I am humbled by.

There have been moments where my Faith have been stretched and tested, but only for the better. Being able to put my big sister to rest was not the easiest, but has caused me to not only appreciate life, but to invest in mental and physical health, building strong friendships and relationships, living out my purpose and being intentional about the lives of others.

I have met authentic, real and kind people this year who I thought I’d never meet. People that have stood by me in the hard times, friends who have become sisters. It’s amazing how each year exposes you to new people, but also new levels, and in these levels, it really tests if you are willing to stand in the face of adversity. I can confidently say that I have passed the test. I have never experienced such an intense year as 2018. Lord knows!

A little progress leads to little successes! Yes, we here this statement all the time: ‘New Year, New Me’. But instead of saying it and not applying it, why not start planning your 2019 now! You don’t have to wait for Tuesday 01st January to arrive; you can start writing down your goals, aspirations, desires and TAKE ACTION! DO; don’t just say!

As I round-up, in as much as we have many accomplishments to fulfil in 2019, no matter how many that are written down in our journals, diaries, MAC’s, computers, remember that it is not possible accomplish them on your own.

Proverbs 16:3 emphasises that all our plans should be submitted to the Lord and He will guide us into what is the best route. Another strong advice is be SPECIFIC with your aspirations for 2019!

Be very honest with yourself; what is it that you are looking to achieve? It could be:

  • To be engaged
  • To get married
  • To buy a house
  • To leave full-time employment and start a small business with your partner
  • To be in ministry
  • To invest in healthy eating and positive thinking
  • To have regular workshops, masterclasses, online courses, events, conferences, seminars
  • To invest in self-development
  • To impact our generation with Christ’s teachings

What are your goals? SPEAK THEM INTO EXISTENCE! I’d like to know!

Fill your goals out the comment section below and I’ll reply you as soon as possible. More importantly, remember Matthew 6:33 – Seek Him first in all your desires!

For those that may not have had the best year, know that what caused you to cry is going to make you appreciate the year to come. As my dear sister is watching over me right now, I know that it is a strong sign that what is in 2019 will TRULY BLOW MY MIND!! I am looking forward to 2019! Are you?

With love,

Esther
