It seems hard doesn’t it? Life…Why does it seem as if God isn’t doing anything? It feels hard staying hopeful…why do I have to be the one to do it? Why doesn’t she like me? Why did I graduate a few years back, and still don’t have my full-time job?
Have you ever asked those questions? I have…and it can be tempting to question God also. It can be hard to build your Faith when so many people around you are being blessed and you feel nothing is happening for you…but you would say ‘I have been living right’ ‘I have been giving’ ‘I love those around me and care for them’. All these questions can crop up, but why not take a seat and relax…
One of the ways in which we stress ourselves is by ‘over-thinking’ situations. You question yourself saying ‘this isn’t where I should be’ or ‘I see myself in a better position than this’. Depending on the way you have said it, your actions will determine your outcome. You can critically analyse yourself and say humbly that you desire to see yourself in a better position, or you can take it into your own hands and get angry, which I would not advice. Doing things in anger only makes you look bad…we need to remind ourselves that as ladies, it can be very easy to become sensitive or explode when someone does us wrong. This is why we must keep enduring our burdens, but to share them with God.
We also need people around us! Some people say they are better off alone, but in the end, you will always need someone in your life. Someone to guide you when you fall. Someone who will tell you the truth despite the pain. Someone who will laugh with you. Someone who will cry with you…all these are important in one’s life. When life seems so confusing, keep going and keep on enduring. No position is permanent! God is adjustable to change! But in order to see a change, you must change the way you think, for the way you think is what you will become. Proverbs 23 verse 7 says “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he”. So in other words, what you think about is what is likely to happen. So you have been praying for a full-time job for more than a year; you have been searching online, giving out CV’s, fasting and praying, but it still seems like nothing is coming your way…well I am here to tell you that YOUR FUTURE IS BRIGHT AND THE BEST IS YET TO COME! Yes you would think that it is easier for someone who has it all to encourage you, but I tell you, I do not have it all, but I still have a feeling of encouragement!
It can be very easy for someone who has everything to just say ‘Don’t give up darling, your blessing is just around the corner’, and there is another person that has been through hell on earth and can give biblical scriptures and encouragement to push you not to give up! There is a big difference between the two! Let us remind ourselves that not only should we rely on others to encourage us, we must also be able run to God for encouragement. He is the one who gives us inner peace and rest. Some people will tell you to do it their way, or this way, or that way, but still it does not seem to be working well for you. Well to be honest, it’s because you are trying to sort situations out in your own strength, and that is not possible. We cannot give ourselves 100% satisfaction. Only God can! Try Him!
But to all my bloggers and females, please be encouraged! I do not know what any of you is going through, but I urge you to seek God will all your heart! Maybe it could even be you yourself that might be hindering your blessing. Maybe you have unforgiveness in your heart, you don’t trust God enough, or you are putting your trust in temporal things…Instead change your mindset around and study the Word. All the answers you need are in there. I guarantee it! When in doubt, look to God and remind yourself that He holds your future in His hands.
Be encouraged always ladies! Your best is yet to come!!!
