NEW ONLINE COURSE FOR SELF-PUBLISHED AUTHORS

As an Author of three books, I have seen how important it is to understand the purpose behind writing. Each day you have a choice to wake up in faith or fear. I choose faith! When writing a book, what is the purpose behind it? Why are you looking to write a book? Throughout my writing career, I’ve had to come to a place where I reflect on how I can give back to people that are looking for a way to fulfil their purpose. One of the greatest ways I have learnt is through being transparent. Transparency has truly opened doors that will enable people to understand the highs and lows of life. You may not always understand why life has it’s challenges, but it is those same challenges that will enable you to get through life and inspire others to do the same.

An online course is being dedicated to all aspiring Authors who have a story to share and isn’t afraid of expressing it. We live in a generation where we hide our pain, but this does not help the issue; it only numbs it for a temporary moment. The Authentic Worth online course will give you the opportunity to understand the ways in which you can write a book and put yourself out there boldly. There is something we are all going through that will create a better future for us.

I will be giving the first five individuals that will enrol 50% off on both courses. To benefit from this discount, email authenticworth@gmail.com for more information.

There will also be a workshop held on Saturday 21st September for aspiring self-published Authors so if you are looking to publish your first book and want to learn more about the publishing process, enrol here

QUESTIONS ABOUT LIFE!

DEDICATED TO ALL BEAUTIFUL WOMEN

Do you know why you are here? Sis, I understand what you are going through. I know the tears you cry; when fear cripples you and makes you feel something is missing. When the world is telling you to rush for success quickly, particularly before age 30. That is the age where everything must be complete; a house, your husband, your first or second child, a beautiful family car, a successful business. No matter what you want to achieve, do not allow the standards of the world to take over.

You are more than what the world and society labels you as. Sis, you are doing your best, but can I tell you one thing. You will fail. You will fail if you keep doing it all by yourself. You will be frustrated trying to fix everyone’s perception of you. You will be annoyed when others compare their progress with yours. Why? Because there is a tendency to allow what other people portray to trigger your self-esteem.

I know how it feels to work so hard and not see results come to fruition. I know. You had the perfect plan, but it just did not seem to work. I know the feeling of making an attempt to balance everything, to the extent where you lose sleep and feel anxious about tomorrow when you are still living in your today. Do you know how much that can make a woman feel? Let alone not loving who she is called to be.

Struggling with low self-esteem and having the ‘MIA’ time not only causes isolation but frustration. Do not keep yourself away from people. When your girls are celebrating their successes, you must understand that you are also a part of their success. Jealousy and envy should not be part of it. Are you hearing me? Jealousy and envy should not be part of it. You may have all your girls around, but it doesn’t mean you know what they are going through.

We smile through social media and post the fun parts of our lives, but behind close doors we scream and shout for help, fear of parents and loved ones criticising us for where we are. Feeling helpless and lacking purpose. Tired and weak and just on the brink of giving up. My sister, please do not give up. Do not look at life as if it has failed you. Life may have it’s ups and downs, but guess who will keep your life in perfect peace? JESUS ❤ <– that is your answer to all your questions about life.

To understand purpose, you can find it in my book Completion

DO SOMETHING THAT IS BEYOND YOU!

When I look back at how 2019 started for me, it really made me more aware of meeting people who are not only in my industry, but who specialises in other areas which makes friendship and working more effective. For me, I have been fully stretched out of my comfort zone this year, and has made me realise how much I have to give. You would be so surprised to appreciate what you already have, rather than looking for external answers.

In this September season, what is something that is beyond you that will make you feel a little bit uncomfortable? Have you given thought to it, or even tried to make one move? They say it is better to try and fail than not try and regret. With failure, comes success. I strongly guarantee this. You can learn so much in your failures as well as you do in your successes. It is all about perspective.

We only have four months left to go for 2019. If you started off great, well done and keep going! Your consistency and hard work will pay off. If 2019 didn’t go off so well for you, examine and look back over the areas that failed you and write them down to see how you can learn from them and get better. You only get better by persevering, not staying down.

When you want to achieve a specific goal or purpose, it won’t be in the way in your comfort zone, but it takes a lot of strength to step out in Faith and believe that you have what it takes to make a change. Starting a business is a full-tie job, as well as working for a large corporate firm – they still both have their demands, but how you perceive it to be matters the most. Not how other people are telling you to run your life.

I leave you with this: be persistent, be consistent, be expectant and when rejection comes, use it as an opportunity for a turn-around. Do not give up; you could be next in line for something that is greater beyond you! Remember, when you are building, you are not just building for you. You are building for those who are yet to come in the future. Legacy!
