When you desire to bless someone, it must come from the heart. Your motives alongside will catch with God and He will test you according to the way you bless someone. Here are five ways you can bless someone, even those who hurt you, and even if you do not know their specific needs:
B – Body – For health, safety, and physical needs.
L – Labors – For the success and prospering in their careers and studies (Jeremiah 29:7).
E – Emotions – For peace and joy to replace fear and anxiety (Matthew 10:13).
S – Social life – For family’s to function well together in their community.
S – Salvation – For each to understand salvation in Jesus Christ, and come to know Him personally and grow in their spiritual lives.
Be a blessing to someone else, then you too shall be blessed. Do not just bless people because you want a blessing. Really mean it from your heart. Tomorrow is not promised, but one phone call can make a big difference in one’s life. To pray for people is another way of blessing them, buying them gifts, spending quality time with them are all ways in which you are giving Glory to God. Do not allow the enemy to steal your joy. Be content with your blessings, but allow God to share your blessings with others. At some point you will need someone to lean on. Do not allow pride to take away your humble attitude. Consider yourself lowly in the eyes of others, so that in due time God shall lift you up. Do not take revenge in to your own hands, the Lord will do that for you. Keep praying for your neighbor, and do NOT STOP LOVING THEM!
