Endurance – Will you endure to the finish?

Greetings…I want to talk to you about endurance and how to remain steadfast during difficult seasons in your lives. Every one of you has an individual purpose. Some of you may already know what it is, others may not. Endurance is something not a lot of people discuss. Most topics we tend to focus on, or what we want to know more about is favour, prosperity, success, wealth, all the good things right? However, let us focus reflect our minds on the difficult situations that we encounter. Endurance means to keep going despite the pain you are facing, and to not give up. We must always remember that sorrow may last for a night, but JOY comes in the morning!

Ladies, I want to encourage you all to keep enduring through your struggles, pain, tears, anxieties, and worries. They are all a part of Gods plan. Some things may not be happening in your favour right now, but you will realise later on why you did not receive what you wanted at your specific time of need. I was expecting something to happen this month for me, but I had to push it back. I was nearly on the verge of getting so upset because some things in life are hard to attain. Instead, I spoke to God about it, and He reassured me that everything is going to be alright. It is believed that ‘STRESS makes you believe that everything has to happen right now, nut FAITH reassures you that everything will happen in Gods timing’.

We really cannot do anything in our own strength. It takes the Grace of God to sort out all your needs. Yes we do want specific things to happen when we want it to, but we cannot question our timing to Gods timing. Most times, we are tempted to set rules and regulations on God for Him to fulfill our needs when we want it to happen. Psalms 23 verse 1: “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want” . The problem is we want Jesus to be what we want Him to be. When you do that, Christ seems insufficient. The issue is US; Submit to Gods authority! You may not fully understand why you have to submit, but believe that He knows exactly what He is doing. We cannot put any rules or regulations on the one that knows us better than ourselves. We have to trust that everything we ask for shall be presented to us in due season, but in the meantime, ENDURE through the painful moments, for they are only valid for a while.

Romans 5 verses 3-4: “(3) Moreover, let us also be full of joy now! Let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure, affliction and hardship produce patent and unswerving endurance, (4) And endurance develops maturity of character (approved faith and tried integrity), and character produces joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation.

Rejoice in hope…be patient in tribulation…BE CONSTANT IN PRAYER…and continue to endure in the journey we call LIFE! 🙂
